Savant, one of our favorite complete home automation platforms, has two exciting announcements this spring for clients of its luxury smart home options.

In May Savant released its new Pro Remote X2, a hand-held remote giving full range of control for Savant Services and Scenes, including lighting, climate, shading, entertainment, and more. Like all Savant products, the new X2 offers ideal control with aesthetic simplicity. Clients can take advantage of Siri voice control and select different video tiling layouts directly on the screen. They can also personalize their remote, adding and organizing icons for the most-used services. The X2 can also be personalized for the client or the room, so that family members can all use the remote seamlessly. X2 gives quick access to the innovative Savant Home App for Apple TV, the smart home control center displayed on a TV screen. 

“The all-new Savant X2 takes functionality and personalization to another level,” said Savant President JC Murphy in an official statement released from the company. “Adding the choice of premium finishes on top of the convenience of programmable hard buttons and a configurable touch screen make the Savant remote a truly personal experience for each user.

This May, Savant also enhanced its award-winning Savant Pro App with even more language capabilities, now including Portuguese, Russian, and Swedish. Earlier this year Savant added Spanish and Chinese. Language localization augments the intuitive nature of the app navigation, a priority of Savant to best customize its services to its clients. Users are better able to create their specific Savant Scenes, customized to their personal aesthetic.  

More recent innovative features include integrated energy automation with the new Energy Modes and circadian lighting automation with Daylight Mode.
