Three platforms, matched to you. Savant, Control4, and Josh.ai are our preferred smart home platforms, and honestly, they're more alike than different. All three are luxury whole-home systems, all three work with a wide range of products, and we install them in new construction and retrofits alike. The biggest difference is how they feel to live with. Savant is more Apple-based, so clients who already live in the Apple world usually feel right at home with it; clients who are more familiar with Windows tend to find Control4 the better fit. Josh.ai leads with natural voice control and a strong emphasis on privacy — speak the way you normally would, and the house responds. We'll recommend the one that matches the way you already use technology.
Scenes, not settings. The point of a control system is that one touch does the work of a dozen. "Good morning" warms the house, raises the shades, and starts your music. "Away" shuts off the lights, lowers the temperature, and arms the security system. "Movie night" dims the room and drops the shades before the film starts, and "Goodnight" closes the house down from bed. Keypads where you want them, an app everywhere else, and voice control for homes that would rather just ask.
The mountain, built into the wall. Automation can bring the valley inside, too. For one Teton Village residence we designed two purpose-built displays for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort: a large-format screen set into the paneling above the fireplace shows the resort trail map, while a dedicated vertical screen delivers the live ski report, current weather conditions, lift and run status, and the extended forecast — a concierge-style feature made for mountain living, and one that fits flush with the millwork and stone.
Built for second-home realities. Many Jackson Hole homes sit empty for weeks at a time, and a control system has to hold up when nobody's there to reset it. We back our systems with remote monitoring and a local team that answers — whether you're in the house or a time zone away — including 24/7 support for our clients, holidays included. Dealer-managed updates and remote diagnostics mean many issues are handled before you ever notice them.
Already have a system? Carrying both Savant and Control4 means we rarely have to recommend tearing out a working control system — we can take over, reprogram, and extend systems installed by other companies throughout Jackson Hole and the surrounding valleys. That includes older homes still running LiteTouch lighting control, which was the most popular system in Jackson Hole for years and is no longer made; we replace it with Lutron lighting control, planned to make the most of the wiring already in the walls.
Privacy comes first. We build on platforms from long-standing, top-ranked technology companies, and we prioritize the privacy and security of our clients and their homes in every decision — including how and when AI features are used. New technology earns its way into a home by working reliably, not by being new.
Earlier is easier. Most of our work begins with an architect, a builder, or a referral. We produce complete technology drawing packages on your CAD backgrounds — so control, lighting, shades, AV, and networking are coordinated from day one — and we stay through construction administration. Finished homes still have real options; an honest site visit tells us exactly what's possible.

Savant, Control4, or Josh.ai — which is right for my home? The choice usually comes down to what you're comfortable with: if you love Apple, we'll typically steer you toward Savant, which is more Apple-based; if you're more at home with Windows, Control4 tends to fit. Josh.ai leads with natural voice control and privacy. We'll walk you through all three.
Can you automate a home that's already built? Yes. It's easiest when control is planned into the construction set, but finished homes have real options — we install both Savant and Control4 in retrofits, and a system can be added in stages over time. A site visit tells us honestly what's possible.
Will you take over a system another company installed? Yes. Because we carry both Savant and Control4, we can usually take over, reprogram, and extend an existing system rather than replace it. We maintain systems installed by others throughout Jackson Hole and the surrounding valleys, including Alpine, Victor, and Driggs.
My house still has LiteTouch. What are my options? LiteTouch was the most popular lighting control system in Jackson Hole homes for years, and it's no longer made. Working systems can keep running, but replacement parts get harder to find. We replace it with Lutron lighting control, planned to make the most of the existing wiring.
Can you show the ski report and lift status in the house? Yes. For one Teton Village residence we built custom displays for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort — the trail map on a large screen above the fireplace, and a vertical screen with the live ski report, current weather, lift and run status, and the extended forecast, integrated flush with the millwork.
What happens when I'm not in Jackson? We back our systems with remote monitoring and a local team that answers wherever you are, including 24/7 support for our clients, holidays included. Dealer-managed updates and remote diagnostics let us handle many issues without a trip to the house.
Do you install security systems? We don't install alarm systems, but we integrate with them. A security system installed by others can be armed, disarmed, and checked from the same touch panels, keypads, and app that run the rest of the house. What we do install is surveillance cameras and PDK and 2N access control.
Is voice control private? Privacy and security come first in every system we build. That's a big part of why Josh.ai is one of our preferred platforms — it's designed for luxury homes with a strong emphasis on privacy — and why we're careful about how and when AI features are used in a client's home.
