Our Process · Seven steps, one team, zero surprises

Designed on paper.
Proven in the room.

Every system we build follows the same structured path — from the first walkthrough of your plans to the day, years from now, when you call and we answer. It's how a home theater is calibrated, not merely installed, and how a house full of technology feels like one system instead of ten.

Whether you're a homeowner building or upgrading, a builder managing a custom home, or an architect or designer shaping a refined space — this process folds into your workflow, on your schedule, in your drawing set.

Step 01 · Consultation & Discovery

We listen before we design.

Every project begins with your vision — and your plans. We walk the drawings with you, your architect, and your builder, and learn how you actually live: where mornings happen, where movies happen, who controls what, and what should simply take care of itself.

  • On-site or plan-stage walkthrough — the earlier, the better
  • Your goals, priorities & budget, in your words
  • How you want to control comfort, light & entertainment
  • Honest guidance on where to invest — and where not to
Step 02 · System Design & Documentation

Engineered into the architecture — in writing.

This is where we differ from most integrators: we don't just plan the system, we document it. Complete technology drawing packages on your architect's CAD backgrounds — AV, networking, lighting control, window treatments, and acoustical design for theaters and studios — so every trade builds from the same set and nothing is decided at the last minute on a ladder.

  • Technology sheets drawn on your CAD backgrounds
  • Acoustical design for theaters & recording studios
  • Lutron fixture compatibility, scene & control planning
  • Per-sheet menu — architects pick only the sheets they need
Step 03 · Pre-Wire & Infrastructure

The part you'll never see — done like the part you will.

For new construction and major renovations, we install the backbone while the walls are open: structured wiring, network infrastructure, and equipment locations planned for service access and future expansion. Built for the valley's realities — altitude, deep winters, and houses that need to run flawlessly whether you're home or a time zone away.

  • Structured wiring & cabling, terminated and labeled
  • Enterprise network infrastructure, sized for the whole family
  • Equipment rooms planned for cooling, power & service
  • Conduit paths for the technology that doesn't exist yet
Step 04 · Installation & Integration

Craftsmanship you'll never have to look at.

Our in-house team installs with the same care your builder brings to the trim work: clean racks, dressed wire, speakers and keypads placed to the millimeter of the drawings. We coordinate around the other trades and leave every room the way we found it — except now it works.

  • Installed by our own specialists — never subbed out
  • Every system integrated, every component tested
  • Coordinated scheduling with your builder
  • Minimal disruption, spotless job sites
Step 05 · Programming & Calibration

Where the system learns your home.

Installation makes it work; programming makes it yours. We build the Savant scenes, tune the Lutron Ketra light recipes to follow the sun across your rooms, and calibrate every theater and listening space to the room itself — not a spec sheet.

  • Savant control programmed around how you live
  • Ketra light recipes & shade schedules on the sun's clock
  • Theater audio & video calibrated in-room
  • Scenes: "Good morning," "Movie night," "Away"
Step 06 · Walkthrough & Handover

Confident from the first night.

We walk you — and anyone who runs the house — through everything, in plain language. One remote, one app, and the confidence that the first movie night won't need a phone call. Though if it does, we answer those too.

  • Room-by-room walkthrough with your family or house staff
  • The everyday features first, the deep features on request
  • Quick-reference guides for guests & caretakers
  • A system that's simple and enjoyable from day one
Step 07 · Support & Monitoring

We're up the road — and we stay there.

In a valley of second homes, this is the step that matters most. Our remote monitoring watches your system around the clock and often fixes issues before you notice them. When something needs hands, it's our local team that shows up — the same people who built it, since 2002.

  • 24/7 remote monitoring & proactive fixes
  • Updates, maintenance & seasonal readiness
  • Upgrades & expansions as technology evolves
  • A local team that answers — not a national call center

"Most integrators finish at the install. Here, the install is the halfway point — the system isn't done until it's calibrated, programmed, and answered for."

The Jackson Hole AV process · Steps 5, 6 & 7

Start at step one

The best time to call is before the drywall.

Planning a project or upgrading a home? The earlier we're in the plans, the more invisible — and more capable — the finished system becomes.
