Motorized Shades, Blinds & Drapery in Jackson Hole

LUTRON PALLADIOM — MACHINED HARDWARE, TAILORED FABRIC

Jackson Hole AV designs, installs, and programs Lutron motorized shades, blinds, and drapery in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Our glass walls frame the Tetons, but they also invite high-altitude sun that fades wood floors, art, and fabric — and winter nights that pull heat straight through the panes. Motorized window treatments handle both jobs on a schedule, moving so quietly you'll only notice the light change, and they answer to the same keypads, app, and voice control as the rest of the house.

The full Lutron range

Palladiom — Lutron's signature line. Most motorized shades are designed to be ignored; Palladiom took the opposite bet. Its exposed rollers ride on brackets and hembars milled and hand-finished in solid aluminum or brass, in hardware so precisely made that architects specify it on purpose. Palladiom comes wired for new construction, and as Palladiom Wire-Free — battery-powered, with a three-to-five-year battery life — for renovations and finished homes. The newest addition, Palladiom Drapery, pairs the slender look of a traditional curtain pole with a quiet automated track. Palladiom keypads, in real metal and glass, finish the look.

Sivoia QS — the widest selection for custom homes. Lutron's wired system for new construction and major renovations covers nearly every window in the house: roller shades (including wide spans up to 18 feet), cellular honeycomb shades that insulate, tailored Roman shades, motorized wood blinds, horizontal sheer blinds, and tensioned shades for skylights and angled windows. It also includes motorized drapery on straight and curved tracks, with the fabric of your choice, and the Kirbé vertical drapery system, which lifts the fabric up and completely out of the way instead of stacking it at the sides.

Triathlon — pro-grade and wire-free. Built for retrofits, Triathlon runs on batteries that last three to five years, with roller, cellular honeycomb, and wood-blind styles for windows up to 12 feet wide — no new wiring in the walls. Triathlon Select adds a streamlined, low-profile roller.

Serena and Caséta — simple and wire-free. For a single room or a smaller project, Lutron's Serena and Caséta shades offer simpler battery-powered roller, cellular, and wood-blind options.

Custom bottom-up shades. Some windows want privacy at the bottom and the view at the top. We build custom bottom-up shades from Lutron components with a specialty manufacturer we work with — something that's rarely offered in the valley.

Fabric, light, and precision

The right fabric for every room. Sheer fabrics cut glare and UV while keeping the view; translucent fabrics add privacy; blackout fabrics darken bedrooms and theaters — with side channels available to block light at the edges. Cellular honeycomb shades add insulation for the coldest nights, and your designer's own fabric can be used for drapery.

A wall of shades that moves as one. A wall of shades traveling together, perfectly level, arriving at the same height at the same moment — that's Lutron's precision drive, with hembars aligned within an eighth of an inch, and our careful commissioning.

Planned into the house. In new construction we run dedicated shade wiring to every window, powered from Lutron smart power panels, and coordinate pockets, brackets, and exposed hardware with the ceilings, millwork, and openings — so the window treatments are resolved on paper, not on a ladder. See how we work with architects and builders.

On the same clock as the light. We pair shades with Lutron Ketra lighting so the whole envelope of the house brightens, warms, and settles together — glare comes off the Tetons view without losing the view, and afternoon sun is managed before it becomes heat. Shades run from lighting keypads, an app, or your voice, and join the same Savant, Control4, or Josh.ai scenes as everything else: "Good morning" raises the shades with the light. Motorized shade questions we hear most

Which Lutron shades are right for my home? It depends on the house and the window. Palladiom is Lutron's signature line, with exposed, hand-finished hardware; Sivoia QS offers the widest range of styles for wired new construction; Triathlon, Palladiom Wire-Free, Serena, and Caséta are battery-powered for finished homes. We'll walk you through the options room by room.

Can you motorize shades in a home that's already built? Yes. Palladiom Wire-Free, Triathlon, Serena, and Caséta shades are battery-powered, so they don't need new wiring in the walls.

How long do the batteries last? Lutron rates Palladiom Wire-Free and Triathlon batteries at three to five years.

Do you install motorized drapery? Yes — Sivoia QS drapery on straight and curved tracks with the fabric of your choice, Kirbé vertical drapery that lifts out of the way instead of stacking at the sides, and the new Palladiom Drapery.

Do you make bottom-up shades? Yes. We build custom bottom-up shades from Lutron components with a specialty manufacturer we work with — something that's rarely offered in the valley.

What about skylights and angled windows? Lutron's tensioned shades are made for skylights and angled windows, and wide spans up to 18 feet are available for large glass walls.

Can bedrooms and theaters get truly dark? Yes. Blackout fabrics darken the room, and side channels are available to block light at the edges.

Will the shades work with my lighting and home automation? Yes. Shades run from lighting keypads, an app, or voice, pair with Ketra lighting on the same schedule, and join the same Savant, Control4, or Josh.ai scenes as the rest of the house.
